Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Mar 15, 2023 | 0 comments

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a solution-focused approach to mental health care that aims to identify and change negative patterns of thinking and behavior. The therapy involves setting specific goals, identifying negative thoughts and behaviors, developing new ways of thinking and behaving, and practicing new skills. Cognitive restructuring is a key component of CBT, where negative or distorted thoughts are challenged and replaced with more positive and realistic ones. CBT is effective in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, OCD, and eating disorders.
